We do not rule anyone out, we all add up
The reality is that in our environment there are many more people than what we realise who battle every morning with mental health symptoms. There is at least one member in each family who will receive a diagnosis of mental illness throughout their life. It seems to us always more remote than we think until it touches us closely.
Talking about it openly, understanding the suffering of that person, their difficulties and helping them to understand why they occur, helps the person and their environment to relate both with themselves and with their loved ones with greater acceptance.
Denying it leads to more fear, incomprehension and isolation.
To recognise repairs. Repairing is to respect.
At Talking Brain Factory we work to turn the diagnoses into opportunities.
